IT Systems Analyst (NMCI POC)

StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Full Time IT Systems Analyst. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for the execution of Information Technology tasks related to the NMCI support of a Major Weapons Program Office. Applying logical analyses or test and evaluation on all programs within the contractual scope. Working on special problem areas to make recommendations; administering complex areas of the network, security analysis and planning. In addition, the Systems Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:
  • Knowledge operating VTC systems, dialing into audio/video conferences.
  • Knowledge of maintaining Share Drive/SharePoint permissions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2013, creating sub-sites/document libraries
  • Maintain effective communication with other NMCI POCs, especially as employees move throughout the organization.
  • Be familiar with NMCI/NGEN. Support NMCI customer requirements.
  • The network specialist will report changes or emerging requirements (i.e. external connectivity, print, kiosk, etc.) to the NAVAIR CTR Team.
  • Create and maintain customer relations with customer service focus.
  • Create and maintain employee and seat order data within NET, including creating profiles for new employees, ordering new seats, transferring assets, and terminating seats as required.
  • Learn the physical infrastructure of networking/IT in order to understand limitations and help in identifying solutions to problems/issues/requests.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Move, Add, Change (MAC) policies and procedures to ensure accurate input and submission of requests.
  • Using the NMCI contract line items and the FY Order Calendar, submit MAC’s (day-to-day, large-scale moves, claimancy transfers), order mods, and termination of services as requested.
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers to include recommending solutions to user’s requests, and training of hardware/software.
  • Incumbent will respond to data calls as required and provide status updates.
  • Attend NMCI POC meetings and training sessions to keep up-to-date on the requirements for NMCI ordering.

Experience Requirements:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, and independent verification and validation techniques.
  • Works independently and as part of a team in researching data, developing analytical techniques and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of system acquisition practices required to design, develop, integrate, test and manufacture a major system.

Educational Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline. Allowable
substitution: an AA/AS degree and an additional 4 years’ experience or no degree and an
additional 8 years’ experience.

Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship required  
  • Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment.
