SharePoint Developer/Architect

StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a full time SharePoint Architect/Developer at the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado.  The SharePoint Architect/Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:

SharePoint Architect/Developer Functions:
  • Responsible for SharePoint design, configuration, and administration on Navy NIPR and SIPR networks.
  • Responsible for daily management of site content and features, architecture, and permissions.
  • Responsible for SharePoint configuration, enhancements, support, and documentation as well as analyzing business practices.
  • Responsible for providing end user training and solution documentation.
  • Perform analysis of impacts/risks and assess opportunities.
  • Translate user requirements into technical requirements.
  • Configure and maintain existing lists, libraries, and workflows in SharePoint.
  • Respond to requests from users requiring SharePoint assistance.
  • Develop custom applications utilizing SharePoint that leverages the use of out-of-the-box SharePoint features and functionality.
  • Briefs executive level stakeholders on status of functionality and management of SharePoint environment.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years SharePoint Developer experience developing and maintain architectural design and integration of SharePoint as a Content Management System (CMS) including navigation and information management strategies.
  • Office 365 SharePoint Online experience required.
  • Current Web standards, design standards, and Web best practices.
  • Programming in HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge of SharePoint (CAML, content types, pagelayouts, masterpages, CQWP), JQuery, Facebook API, Google Analytics, Google/Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Data Visualization API, Facebook, Flickr, Hootsuite, Feedburner, Wikipedia, Snagit, Bing Web Master Tools, You Tube, AddThis API, MS Access VBA, SPServices, MS Office/SharePoint integration points, MS Office solution development.
  • Excellent communication, technical writing, and analytical skills. Identifying and resolving issues critical to the customers' strategic and operational success able to present conclusions and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Recent experience in design and implementation of higher headquarters (Echelon 3) SharePoint collaboration site to include creating and customizing templates, taxonomy and workflow.
  • Recent experience in implementation of ashore or afloat SharePoint environment.
  • Interpersonal skills, strategic communication, management experience.
  • Document, content, and records management experience desired.
  • Experience with SharePoint Modern Framework interface and web parts desired.
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline desired.

  • U.S. Citizenship required  
  • Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment.
