StraCon Services Group, LLC is seeking a Gaming Developer.  As a Gaming Developer you will perform gaming software analysis, design, and implementation of desktop and mobile user-computer gaming interfaces for training systems developed for training and education. Looking for those who have the skills and passion for educational gaming, who possess an ability to think analytically and have strong communication skills. Our Gaming Developers will be an integral component of a blended, multi-functional team of 3D multimedia artists and animators, instructional designers, project managers and other creative and technology employees in a campus environment with some virtual work opportunities.


Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Analyzes, designs and implements real-time gaming software solutions for a wide-range of U.S. Army training and education solutions for Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians.
  • Participates in-house software review processes including peer review and compliance with an approved Game Design Development Plan.
  • Assists supervisors and the other team members to ensure all discrepancies and actions taken to resolve discrepancies are accurately recorded and resolved prior to releasing products to customer.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • Has a background in real-time modeling and simulation software and gaming engine development applications incorporating 3D animations such as Unity, Virtual Battlespace 3, or Unreal.
  • Specialized training or experience in specific software programs used to render 3D models such as Autodesk® 3ds Max, or programming languages HTML5 and JavaScript preferred.
  • Experience in augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and or mobile gaming preferred.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in game design, game development, software development or computer or engineering sciences BS Game Design, or;
  • High school diploma or equivalent with five (5) total years’ experience in a gaming programming/ software engineering field will be considered.

  • U.S. Citizenship required
